100 Day Journal ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and a display name when you register.
• Journal entries: the reflections and text you write while using the app.
• Reminder preferences: the time and channels you choose for daily reminders.
• Usage data: anonymous analytics events such as when a reflection is saved, to help us improve the experience.
• Payment information: when you purchase digital access, payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.

How We Use Your Information

• To save and display your journal entries back to you.
• To send daily reminder emails when you opt in.
• To verify access using redemption or purchase codes.
• To process purchases and fulfill digital access.
• To understand app usage in aggregate and improve features.

Your Journal Entries Are Private

Reflections you write are tied to your account. They are visible only to you and, for account support purposes, to authorized administrators of the app. We do not sell or share your journal content with third parties.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your journal entries remain until you delete them. You can remove all of your data at any time from the Settings screen in the app, or by contacting us at the email below.

Third-Party Services

The app links to external music and audio services (such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and Amazon Music) for ambient soundscapes. Those services have their own privacy policies, which govern any information you share with them. We also use a payment provider and basic analytics; each operates under its own privacy practices.

Tracking

We do not use your email address or any other personal data for tracking purposes. Your email is used solely to create your account, send reminders you request, and verify access. We do not link your email to third-party advertising networks, share it for ad measurement, or combine it with data from other apps or websites to build an advertising profile.

Apple TV / tvOS

On Apple TV, the app does not access your TV provider account, media library, viewing history, or media metadata. It does not use the controller or Siri Remote to track interactions beyond standard navigation. Journal entries and mood selections are stored securely and tied to your account, as described above. The app does not use Ad Identifier (IDFA) or track you across other apps or websites.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
